From rookiemag’s Ask a Grown Person series, in which teenage girls send questions to ask “grown” people. Jon Hamm doesn’t say anything extraordinary or profound here (except maybe “Everybody farts”) but reminds me of how I wished I could have had a “grown” person to go to besides a cynical older sister and other teenage girls who, like me, were faking it to make it.

And while my 16-ish year old self would have certainly asked the fart question, I also really would have benefitted from seeing something like Psalm One’s Q&A session, on girls, coming out, and trying to act grown and queer.
